Why a video if there is a cover letter?

A cover letter shows how you write. A video shows how you speak, present yourself and think. That is close to what happens in the interview, only earlier.

A video does not replace every cover letter. It pays off where people matter: unsolicited applications, customer-facing teams, start-ups. Always check whether the posting explicitly asks for a cover letter.

Your recording belongs to you

How long can my video be?

You can record up to two minutes. For most roles 60 to 90 seconds is enough.

Do I need a camera or an app?

No. You record in the browser with your device's camera and microphone. You have to grant the permission.

Can I delete the video again?

Yes. If you remove the QR code from your CV, the recording is deleted and the link is deactivated.

Does the AI write the whole script?
